AK07 - Openair Cinema offers Free Short Films Openair Cinema offers free short films during the Auckland Festival at the Red Square (Britomart Precinct) from Sunday 11th until Thursday 15th March and again from Sunday 18th until Thursday 22nd March 2007. The openair cinema Auckland CBD venue offers a bar and a grassed area to sit on or bring your own seating. Sit back and enjoy international short films from the festival's partnering countries, e.g. Australia, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, USA and Japan. All countries were invited to participate with one entry around the theme of 'Cowboys & Clowns'. Short films start screening at 9pm.
