Auckland City Council Free Movies in Parks: Tahaki Reserve, in the shadow of Mt Eden, Grey Lynn Park, Glover Park in St.Heliers and Owairaka Park (near Mt. Albert) are the venues for the 'Movies in Parks' series from Auckland City Council in 2010. Bring your own seating, a picnic (no BYO alcohol) and relax in the sunset. You can also buy snacks, food and drinks (no alcohol) at the venue. The movies screen just after sunset on Wednesday and Thursday (NEW) nights featuring a series of iconic kiwi movies.

Enjoy live kiwi music from Collapsing Cities, who will launch the series with their dynamic sound of artfully droll pop, followed by reggae up shots Sonz of Zion and soncially rich The Broken Heartbreakers.
